Pick Your Own

We grow several PYO crops here at Langwater Farm, and we love inviting our community into the field to participate in the harvest! Check picking conditions and field closure notices below or on our facebook page. No reservations required.

Unfortunately, we can’t allow pets on the farm, including dogs. We grow and sell organic food here, and pets + food safety don’t mix. Thank you for leaving your pets at home.

Please wear footwear appropriate for a farm and bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray with you if you need them.

PYO Tulips

updated Friday, April 26

We’re open for PYO Tulips! Just stop by the farm Tues-Sun, 10am-6pm — no reservations required.

Here’s how it works:

  • When you arrive, purchase admission to the field at the farm store register. You can bring your own scissors, or we can lend you a pair.
    • Everyone age 16 and up: $20 (includes a jar & 10 stems)
    • Children ages 3-15: $5 (no tulip picking included)
    • Children ages 0-2: free
  • Head out to the tulip field, a short walk down a gravel farm road.
  • Out in the field, enjoy picking your 10 stems! Please cut the stems as close to the base of the plant as possible, at soil level. Our tulips are precious! Please don’t pick stems you don’t intend to take home. Additional stems (after the first 10) are $1.50 each.
  • Check out at the farm store and return your scissors before you head home.

While you’re in the field, please move between rows by walking around to the end of the row. Do not step on or over the tulip beds. Monitor children closely.

Our PYO Tulip field is open until the field manager determines that the crop is picked out and the field must close for the day. Check our facebook page or this PYO page for up-to-the-minute field updates.
