Plant, Weed, Harvest, Repeat.

Mike G cultivatingWith the Strawberry crop starting to come in (first harvest of 2020 happened over the weekend), and the Zucchini crop hot on its heels, our crew has been harvesting almost non-stop the past few days. While we still have plenty of planting ahead of us (we’ll be planting one thing or another all the way through November), we are definitely through the majority of it. Now our field crew shifts into a 3-way balance between planting, harvesting, and weeding, or else the weeds will rob our crops of the soil nutrients and sunlight they need to flourish.

Plant Patio

Right now our Plant Patio has a selection of garden-ready veggies, herbs, and some colorful annual flowers. We also have organic seeds from High Mowing Organic Seeds, and organic fertilizers from Coast of Maine.
