The poet Pablo Neruda has a poem about Tomatoes that starts,
filled with tomatoes
through the streets.
He could be talking about our farm at this time of year. Tomatoes are everywhere around here. We grow multiple successions, each in a different field, and right now several successions are yielding at the same time. With the summer sun still in full force, the plants are thriving and the Tomatoes ripening almost faster than we can pick them. But it’s glorious and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It means we get to feast on all our favorite Tomato dishes⎯Tomato Salsa Fresca, Heirloom Tomato Galette, Grilled Cheeses with fresh Tomatoes, delicious Shakshuka, and of course fresh Tomatoes, Basil & Pasta. Pablo would approve:
it enters at lunchtime,
its own light,

Pizza Night & Kids Yoga
Farm Pizza Night is back again this Friday! Please note the special hours this time: 4pm – 7pm. EEE is a concern right now in Easton, so we’ll have plenty of bug spray on hand and end an hour earlier than normal.
Shovel Town Brewery will be here with some adult beverages and you can hang out on the party lawn and enjoy some delicious wood-fired pizza. The Seasonal Special this time is Heirloom Tomato (our favorite!).
The September Pizza Night is scheduled for Friday, September 20th. Seasonal Special is TBD.
See you on the party lawn!
Kids Yoga & PYO Cherry Tomato class is this Saturday at 10:30! Taught by the lovely Kristen Keaney of Be Well & Rise, this class will include:
- some yoga
- some kid-friendly nutrition info
- a walk out to the field for PYO Cherry Tomatoes
