Pink Cherry Tomatoes, freshly harvested
Tomato season is finally here, for real!!!!!!!
And, of course, we are super excited. Tomatoes are our obsession: the crop we dream about in the winter, one of our first crops to seed in the spring, the crop we agonize over when there’s a late May frost, the crop we tend meticulously for months before we ever get a harvest, the crop we can never get enough of. And, for this window of time in late summer and early fall, they’re glorious.
We’re harvest lots this week—BLT-ready Slicing Tomatoes, Caprese Salad-worthy Heirloom Tomatoes, and infinitely-snackable Cherry Tomatoes—so get ready to feast.

The perfect Red Slicing Tomato, vine-ripened & delicious

Shishito Peppers are in our CSA shares, our OHBs, and at our Farmers Markets & Farmstand for the first time this season. We are BIG fans of Shishitos, which are super trendy at fancy restaurants right now. They’re little peppers with great flavor and, occasionally, a bit of a bite. We always blister them in a cast iron skillet on the stove or the grill, and serve them ASAP. But if you want to get a little adventurous, there’s plenty of room for creativity. If you’ve never had them, you’re in for a treat!
We’re hiring for the fall
