❤️ Valentine’s Day is Thursday! ❤️ We have Flower CSA shares for the flower-lovers you love! 12 weeks of colorful & fragrant Pick Your Own bouquets are available for purchase at the #linkinbio We have a Gift Pack option too, which can be picked up at the farm tomorrow. Thanks to @firepixie77 for letting us regram her GORGEOUS pics of her Flower CSA share!! #flowercsa #rainbowofcolor #everydaybeauty
We got our Dahlia tubers today from @fiveforkfarms and we can’t wait for summer! Clockwise from top right: Black Satin, Snoho Sonia, Creamy, Chimacum Nadjae, and Cornel Bronze. All pics from #fiveforksfarms #dahlias #dahliaheaven
2019 seed ordering extravaganza started today! We’re tucked up in the warmest part of the barn with all our favorite seed catalogs. This is usually a multi-day project, but we’re moving right along. Started at Artichokes this morning and we’re already through Cabbage! #nodaysoff #coffeefueled @beaneryonwashington #winteronthefarm #seedcatalogseason @johnnys_seeds
Luckily our root washer has wheels so we can move it into the barn’s warmest room (a toasty 70 degrees) to wash some beets today. Better than washing them outside in 40 degree temps! Liz and Amanda and Max will have all the beets you can handle tomorrow at the Pawtucket and Original Easton markets—see you there! #beets #winteronthefarm #rootwasher #dirtyjobs #originaleastonfarmersmarket #pawtucketwintertimemarket
Another thing farmers do in the dead of winter—crop planning!! #blankslate #itallstartshere #winteronthefarm
Farm Crew Friday! Our Farm Manager, Sam, first started at Langwater when he was in high school, back a million years ago. Now he runs our wholesale and all loading dock/wash & pack operations, plus all greenhouse operations. Oh, and he does field crew management, tractor work, and he’s Chief Assistant Pizza Chef on Pizza Nights. Sam’s a busy (and multi-talented) guy. Lately, Sam’s been doing what farmers do in the dead of winter—build stuff!! This gorgeous side table is oak and pine and has a twin to match. Add fine carpentry to Sam’s skills list! #farmcrewfriday #farmmanager #eastonsown #langwatersquad #winteronthefarm #finecarpentry #handmade #skillz
The seasonally-appropriate dangle signs for January are up! We 😘 our dangle signs. #handmade #csa #winteronthefarm

Today’s the last day of the Farmstand season for 2018—many, many thanks to all of you for another great year! As we head into our winter lull (and maybe a well-timed white Christmas Eve tomorrow?), we’re sending you lots of gratitude and hopes for a few long winter naps in the coming months. See you back at the Farmstand on May 4th! #muchlove #winternapsahead
