Fall Fun the Farm kicked off last weekend and now we’re in full swing. Our free weekend hayrides out to the Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch will continue until Halloween. The first hayride leaves around 10am and they loop continuously all day. The last hayride leaves the Farmstand around 5pm.

Our 2018 Corn Maze (tickets: $2/person), which is another stop on the hayride, is 2 acres ilan mastermind of the corn mazeof deliciously creepy, mind-twisting fun. The Corn Maze started out months ago as it always does, in the brain of our maze mastermind, Ilan, who has been creating our mazes for years. Ilan was on our field crew years ago, but now moonlights here every summer when it’s time to make the maze.

ilan plotting the corn mazeIn July Ilan designed the concept and then set to work translating it onto a large sloping section of our field. Then Ilan turned it over to our maze keeper, Gennaro. Gennaro seeded it, nurtured it for months, and shaped it into its final form, now ready for you to test your bravery and your mind. Hopefully you won’t run across any Children of the Corn, who we sometimes catch glimpses of in that corner of the farm.

Back by popular demand, we’re hosting another Pizza Night this Friday, September 28th from 4:30-7pm.

ShovelTownBrewery_logoWe now have a 2nd pizza oven to speed things up and, most exciting, we’ll be serving Shovel Town beer as well. You’ll again have the option of enjoying your pizza at our picnic tables on the party lawn or bringing it home with you.
