Out in the Pick Your Own Strawberry patch

We’re reveling in Strawberry season here at the farm! This year’s crop is sweet and very tender, perfect for snacking on. We’ve also been making delicious Strawberry smoothies, Strawberry pie, and ice cream sundaes with Strawberries and balsamic sauce. YUM!

We’re **tentatively** planning on opening up our Strawberry patch for Pick Your Own this weekend, weather and picking conditions permitting. We’ll confirm later this week on our facebook page, and also have more details about the hayrides out to the berry patch.

Certified Organic Strawberries

Our Strawberries, like all our veggies, are Certified Organic. We’ve chosen Strawberry plant varieties that are extra flavorful and tender because we only sell them locally (unlike the kind you buy in the grocery store, which have traveled long distances). However, this extra flavor and tenderness does mean that our berries don’t hold as long as grocery store ones. Make sure to eat your berries promptly once you bring them home from the farm!
