At Langwater Farm, in order to produce high-quality organic vegetables, fruits, and flowers, we rely on having a strong, trustworthy, competent crew. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking farm crew members to be involved in all aspects of production and marketing, including planting, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, and selling produce at farmers’ markets and our farmstand.
Please note that while it can be very rewarding, farm work is also tough– it is physically demanding, with a fast pace and long hours outside in all kinds of weather, including hot, cold, and rainy weather.
We are looking for workers who are:
- Experienced in production agriculture and field work
- Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
- Hard workers, physically strong and able to keep up with a fast pace
- Quick learners, able to follow directions and learn new tasks
- Personable with a good attitude and enjoy interacting with customers and farm visitors
- Have a valid drivers license
- Interested in agriculture, food and farming
