Summer on the farm is officially delicious. We’ve been loving the melon harvest: orange canteloupes, green galia melons, honeydews, yellow canary melons, pink and yellow watermelons– all have been super sweet and full of the best flavor of summer. The tomatoes are pouring in, too: from perfectly ripe red beauties to the funky, knobbly, multicolored heirlooms with their fantastic flavors. They’re sweet and delicious, great with pasta, made into salsa, or just sliced on top of some good bread with a sprinkle of salt. We have fantastic cucumbers, great for cool summer salads or pickling. Plus, we have our own delicious organic sweet corn. And plenty of other veggies: onions, garlic, basil, beets, new potatoes, green beans, wax beans, eggplants, green bell peppers, sweet yellow and orange peppers, plus our own organic strawberries. Not to mention beautiful bouquets fresh every day! Come by to see what we have– it changes all the time.
